Hey RGV and Beyond! I'm just finishing twentieth season here this week and after a short rest will whip the camel back to the north country again for some summer work & a few gigs to play. It was a mixed-emotion season with the massive fire at Don-Wes, but as you read in the next paragraph, everyone pitched in & we got through it all somehow, someway! It was very rewarding to be back there in January when I didn't think there would be a season at all this year! Kudos to all who participated...See Ya Next Fall!!!
Hey, Hey!! After such sad news earlier about the massive fire and destruction at Don-Wes....it's kind of like the Phoenix... rebuilding back from the ashes! As of January 14th I've been back entertaining out there on the pavilion and the crowds have been fantastic! May God bless all of the vendors for hanging in there and working their way back to "open for business" once again...please be patient when you visit, folks....it's still a huge 'work in progress' but everyone seems to be chipping in and getting after what needs to be done. Thank you, Deb and Jim for spearheading this entire project and for betting you entire future on it's continued success!!
As the years continue to landslide by, I'm reminded how precious these times are...and so thankful for having had the opportunity to make an impression on a few folks (well, more than a few!!) over these many good days!!
As I say in the song I wrote in Poland.. "Dziekuje (Chin Kwee Ya), Muchas Gracias, Thanks A Lot For Letting Me Do My Show!! (first word is Polish for "Thank you!")
Five years ago July I was inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame after a performance at that venue in Norfolk. It was a surprise to me when I received the call about it, but a humbling experience and an award that I will forever treasure!!
Time waits for no one, especially those of us who've been blessed to reach 'senior' citizenship!! I'm having the 'ride of my life' and so lucky to have had that opportunity!
For those of you in the Valley, check on Facebook for updates on my schedule....I pick up extra dates that sometimes aren't listed here and so usually the day before I put something on advertising the gig.
I think back over the past 18 years of 'semi-retirement' and realize that I have truly been blessed...both with some extremely good fortune and also the opportunity to have met so many of you wonderful people with no end in sight of continuing on that fortunate path. Thank you all once again for your friendship!!

Hey Everybody!! ....Just a note of welcome to each and every visitor to this website. I plan to make use of this opportunity to keep you informed of what's going on in my world of entertainment and to share a few of the hopes, dreams and aspirations in my personal life. I have recently completed my twentieth season of entertaining the good residents of the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas and have called that place my adopted home for most of those years. I play most of my engagements in the RV parks located there and have also found much success at the Don-Wes Flea Market in Donna. I continue to do some ever-popular 'Happy Hours" at a variety of parks as well as a limited number of variety shows and of course some good old fashioned evening dances at a number of them also.
